Day 8 - Orphan Village

Our final day was centred around Islamic Help's Children's Eco Village on the outskirts of Dar Es Salaam. It was a beautiful place; a large clean and well cared for land. There was a mosque, houses and a kitchen; there was also a farm with cattle, fruit trees and vast array of vegetation. We planted trees and then sat down with the orphans who introduced themselves and then sang a song for us. There were 20 girls ageing from 9 to 13. They were being cared for very well and were being educated.
