We started the day at Mtango primary school. Here we plastered all the outisde walls which were scattered with cracks and holes. We were to then paint the walls but we were distracted by the amazing kids of the village. We noticed a ball being thrown around and when it came round our way we were saddened to realise that it was plastic bags tied up in a sock. We had a lovely game of catch with almost the whole school and some of the smaller kids in the village also joined in. As some of the older boys became more dominant in the game, a football game broke out with ball made from a black bag scrunched up by elastic bags. We all loved this moment of our trip and we got to know many of the kids.

The next task of the day was at a medical dispensary. We helped with stocking the stock room with the little supply they had. We then moved out the rest of the dispensary and painted it. We had medical supplies to hand over to the doctor of the village. The whole village seemed to turn up to the presenation were we were greeted by the district officer, village chief and doctor. They asked us to introduce ourselves and to talk about our work. As we spoke we were greeted by cheers and prayers; it was a heart warming moment. Despite the little that we were handing over (paracetamol, peadeatric antibiotics etc), they were all overjoyed.
